Pre Huddle Tipple
Q: What do you get when you cross a Food Blogger with a Table Linen Enthusiast?
A: Why, the Long Lunch Club of course! A place where people can gather together and celebrate local food, local wine, local talent and strengthen networks and support one another.
Last Sunday Emily White @thehungryswan and Carina Chambers (that's me) @longlunchlinen had the absolute pleasure of hosting our first ever Long Lunch Club at Em's house in Orange, N.S.W.
The weather was perfect, the doggies were party ready and the conversations flowed. We welcomed 20 talented local female business owners & leaders from the Orange community to our party and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, meeting new friends, catching up with older ones and generally just having the chance to talk properly before The Huddle kicks off this weekend.
It was also the debut of our Strawberry Stripe Napkins, pictured below with the Rosé tablecloth in Extra-Long. I'm biased, but I think they look pretty great together.
Ainsley styling our table to pink perfection
We served See Saw Wines Gee Gee Rosé.
Fresh local and seasonal produce was on the menu
Em entertaining the crowd by saying something hilarious
We also managed to sneak in a pink cocktail or two (thanks to Soph Durham for whipping these up at the last minute)
Carina & Em with the local artist gang
And just a minute of appreciation for these little cuties. Brushed to poochie perfection and behaving so well for the camera (snacks were involved)
A HUGE thank you to:
- Emily White @thehungryswan and her Super Mumma Janice for cooking ALL the food
- Alice from @seesawwines for liberally plying us with her top notch Rosé and Prosecco
- Ainsley Sullivan @ainsleysullivan_ for her incredible styling skills
- Monique Lovick @moniquelovick.photography
- Linen on the top table was the Rosé Pink tablecloth in Extra-Long with our new Strawberry Stripe napkins. The bottom table was the Salt & Pepper Midi Round tablecloth.
We're really excited to be hosting a new Long Lunch Club every month, so stay tuned for the next instalment of this fun little adventure we're on and plenty more photos of us having a good old cackle.
- Carina xx
